The Domaine de Vassal grapevine BRC has embarked in an internal quality management approach. The whole project has been divided in three main actions:

• Introducing the plant material in the collection
• Maintaining the material in collection
• Disseminating the plant material issued from the collection

The partnership with IFV in the context of UMT Géno-Vigne® led to the ISO 9001 certification for the first action on April 6^th, 2011. This certification was confirmed after a follow-up audit in April 2012.

The certification was suspended in 2013, on the grapevine BRC request, due to the scheduled transfer of the collection to the INRAE Pech Rouge site (see news).

However, the process is still ongoing using the NF S96-900 norm, specific to plant BRCs.
